Im Rahmen des Engagements von Glaston f\u00fcr die Rechte des Kindes vertieft das Unternehmen sein Wissen durch spezielle, von UNICEF Finnland organisierte Schulungen, die sich auf die \u00dcberschneidung von Kinderrechten, Gesch\u00e4ftspraktiken und Unternehmensverantwortung konzentrieren. In March, Tropical Storm Jude struck the Grand Sud region of Madagascar, causing the deaths of five people and affecting more than 26,000 disaster victims, including over 12,500 displaced persons. With the support of UNICEF and its partners, young people mobilized to aid in reconstruction, including scouts, U-reporters, and volunteers recruited by the Ministry of Population. Before the storm\u2019s arrival, these youth carried out awareness-raising activities within communities, encouraging people to seek safe shelter. After the storm passed, they assisted in assessing damage to homes and actively participated in the distribution of survival rations. Throughout the implementation of the contingency plan, UNICEF supports the National Office for Risk and Disaster Management (BNGRC) and other partners, both in emergency preparedness and post-cyclone response. Its intervention covers key sectors, including education, health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene, as well as child protection and social protection.
