Consisting of two glass panes separated by a vacuum gap, VIG considerably reduces heat transfer compared to conventional insulating glass units while maintaining a thin, lightweight profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glass flatness is critical for VIG manufacturing. \u201cThis is where Glaston comes in,\u201d says <strong>Kimmo Kuusela<\/strong>, EVP, Sales &amp; Service EMEA &amp; APAC at Glaston. \u201cWe are at the forefront of tempering technology, delivering world-class flatness in tempered glass. This is a key enabler for efficient and reliable VIG production.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By bringing together Glaston\u2019s leading tempering technology and Leadus\u2019s expertise in vacuum glass processing, the companies can push the development of VIG solutions forward and encourage adoption among glass processors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8221;As different advanced glass concepts continue to evolve, glass processors are exploring how existing processes can be adapted to new applications.
