Recently, our reputation has\u00a0enabled us to win challenging\u00a0architectural glass projects from many countries around the\u00a0world,\u201d says Keijo Uusitalo, Production Manager of Tambest in\u00a0Forssa, Finland. \u201cTo keep our performance at such a high level,\u00a0we decided to invest in a Glaston iControL upgrade<\/a> for our\u00a0older Glaston flat tempering furnace. And all has gone extremely\u00a0smoothly with the project, enabling us to keep making outstanding\u00a0results.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no easy feat for a company that started\u00a0out as a small glass shop in the countryside\u00a0of Finland to become a world-class player\u00a0when it comes to tempered glass quality\u00a0and innovative curved architectural glass.\u00a0But that\u2019s exactly what Tambest has been\u00a0able to achieve in the 32 years that it has\u00a0been in business.\u00a0Keijo Uusitalo says that Tambest has chosen\u00a0all major furnaces from Glaston, formerly\u00a0Tamglass, throughout the years because of\u00a0the great quality output as well as the local\u00a0service and support.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe chose the iControL upgrade for the\u00a0furnace to help us reach a higher level\u00a0of quality that was not possible earlier\u00a0with the old system. The new infrared\u00a0scanners give us precise information about\u00a0the temperature of the glass inside the\u00a0furnace. As the glass passes through the\u00a0furnace, our upgraded system now gives\u00a0us better control and thereby much better\u00a0results.\u201d<\/p>\n
