We\u2019re not a glass\u00a0factory,\u201d underlines Richard Wilson, President of Agnora, Inc., in\u00a0Collingwood, in Ontario, Canada, about two hours north of Toronto.\u00a0\u201cTo stay as the leader in this area, we continue to invest in the\u00a0latest and most advanced technology, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/glaston.net\/fi\/upgrade\/roller-heat-control\/\">Glaston\u2019s Roller\u00a0Heat Control (RHC) upgrade <\/a>for our special ProE Magnum flat\u00a0glass furnace.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Wilson and his wife started\u00a0Agnora about six years ago to provide\u00a0the exceptional high-quality, oversized\u00a0architectural glass units that are available\u00a0in Europe, but are hard to find in the North\u00a0American market.<\/p>\n<p>With a passion for excellence and penchant\u00a0for challenges, Agnora has been selected to\u00a0serve the likes of world-class companies,\u00a0such as Apple, Microsoft and Dior, as well\u00a0as leading cultural institutes, such as the\u00a0Onassis Cultural Center on Fifth Avenue in\u00a0New York and the Art Institute of Chicago.\u00a0\u201cOur customers use our glass units to make\u00a0an unforgettable statement and to support\u00a0their iconic brands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Agnora purchased the tailor-made\u00a0Glaston ProE Magnum 3372 flat tempering\u00a0furnace in 2010, and it has been operating\u00a0flawlessly over the past five years.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2015, Richard visited the Glaston\u00a0factory in Tampere, Finland, during his\u00a0participation at the Glass Performance\u00a0Days (GPD) conference. Glaston presented\u00a0the Roller Heat Control (RHC) as part of\u00a0their latest furnace technology showcase.\u00a0\u201cEven though our furnace is only five years\u00a0old and in reality would still have another\u00a0good 20 years of life, I decided on the spot\u00a0that I couldn\u2019t live without this technology,\u201d\u00a0Richard smiles.<\/p>\n<p>Richard explains that his goal is to\u00a0continue to focus on this specialized area\u00a0of oversized glass. \u201cAnd to do that, we\u00a0plan to stay on top of technology. Our aim\u00a0is to continue to produce the best quality\u00a0glass in the largest sizes for our discerning\u00a0customers,\u201d Richard says.\u00a0\u201cIf Glaston were to come out with the best\u00a0technology a year from now, we\u2019d be more\u00a0than happy to do it all again,\u201d he states.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s simple,\u201d Richard sums up. \u201cOur\u00a0customers expect from us what we expect\u00a0from Glaston \u2013 the best.
