At this year’s GlassBuild America show, which will take place in Las Vegas between September 12 and 14, Bystronic glass will present its innovative system solutions for the modern processing of glass at a joint booth together with co-operation partner Hegla. The customers will get an overview about the latest machinery for the manufacturing of insulating glass and laminated glass, for glass handling as well as Hegla glass cutting.

Insulating glass manufacturing: flexspacer’line

At the stand one can learn details about the automatic manufacturing of gas filled and sealed warm edge I.G. units on the flexspacer’line. The core of this line is the flexspacer’twinapplicator for the direct application of Super Spacer® material onto vertically positioned glass plates. With two alternately functioning application heads the unique machine provides the complete non-interruptive production of double and triple insulating glass units – even while equipping with material. The flexspacer’twinapplicator is particularly suitable for order related manufacturing of insulating glass units with varying spacer widths, including the production of triple insulating glass units that require two different spacer widths.

eco’lamiline: Proven, revolutionary technologies

In the laminated glass production sector, customers can obtain information about the eco’lamiline, the new production line, which enables all versions of laminated glass to be produced in an energy-efficient manner – from simple constructions through to complex shaped formats with special films – all on a single system. The integrated, innovative technology of the revolutionary pre-nip system eco’convect enables a homogeneous heat input that is evident in the quality of the end product.

Glass handling – take it easy

Customers will also be able to talk with experts about rational handling equipment for all flat glass and plate processing sectors. This also includes the best seller, the Easy-Lift, which has converted customers in the glass processing industry with its rigid guidance and its own low own weight since 1998. In recent years, the handling equipment has also gradually won over large window manufacturers with the flexibility of the frame design and how it can fulfil their requirements.
