Glaston Corporation    Press release    9 April 2025 at 10:10 EEST

As communicated in Glaston’s Financial Statements Release on 14 February, 2025, Glaston expects the glass processing equipment markets to remain soft in 2025. The prevailing market situation, especially in the architectural market, does not show signs of significant recovery for this year.

To ensure that the company has the right set-up to serve its customers even more efficiently in the prevailing market situation, Glaston plans to adjust its organization and ways of working to increase efficiencies and speed up decision-making. Therefore, Glaston will initiate change negotiations concerning its functions in Finland, in order to address the planned adjustment measures.

Glaston estimates that the negotiations could lead to the termination of less than 10 employment contracts. The planned measures may also result in changes to employment terms and working tasks. At the end of 2024, Glaston Group employed 817 persons, of which approximately 210 in Finland.
