Glaston Profile Scanner Upgrade for Grinding Wheels
Give your grinding machine the ability to see for itself. The Glaston Profile Scanner is an optional upgrade that adds an integrated laser scanner directly to the machine, so there’s no need to remove the tool or use external measuring equipment. It captures the grinding wheel profile automatically and displays the results instantly on the operator panel.
Beyond a single measurement, the Profile Scanner tracks wheel condition over time, comparing test results against DWG nominal data to show whether the profile is still within tolerance, needs readjustment, or requires a tool change. With optional automatic process correction, the system detects and corrects deviations independently within set tolerance limits, keeping quality consistent with less operator intervention.
The result: shorter changeovers, better glass edge quality, and higher system availability, built right into your Glaston grinding machine.
