Emirates Glass upgrades furnace with new Glaston RC200-zone
When Glaston’s local service representative presented Emirates Glass with the option to upgrade its nine-year-old Glaston ProE furnace by changing just the existing heating section to the new Glaston RC200-zone, this seemed to be an ideal solution. It provided the Dubai-based company with an easy way to move production to the next level.
”Instead of purchasing a complete new line to produce a higher quality glass to meet the evolving needs of their customers in the architecture industry, just the furnace block is changed with the Glaston RC200-zone upgrade with Vortex Plus convection,” explains Petteri Langenoja, Regional Service Manager Manager. ”There’s no need to sell or relocate an outdated furnace. With just one simple change, the furnace meets the most demanding quality requirements.”
”Our new furnace has worked fine so far. The Glaston engineers and local service staff were extremely good and competent with their tasks. Cooperation was smooth throughout the entire changeover process. Honestly, I was very impressed!”
