KwikTuf secures its future with Glaston FC500

Having experienced year on year growth since its start in 2005, KwikTuf Ltd in Hull, England, is preparing itself for a major expansion project, which involves a £1.5m investment in new premises and advanced Glaston FC500 tempering equipment. The aim of the business is to provide service and support to organizations with a need for a comprehensive range of glass products. KwikTuf plans to achieve this with continued investment in the latest technology and the development of its products and staff.

Today, KwikTuf offers an extensive collection of products ranging from ‘A’ rated energy efficient double glazed units, mirrors, shelving, shower screens, balustrade and balcony panels, display cabinets, table tops, stair treads, floor panels, glass partitions and screens. In addition to all this the company has a purpose built paint room and is able to supply glass products in any RAL or BS colour, for use as kitchen and bathroom splashbacks, shower rooms and decorative panels.

“The Glaston FC500 will also contribute strongly to KwikTuf’s bottom line. It offers significantly higher production capacity of energy efficient, high performance and solar control glass types. Additionally, energy consumption has been reduced by up to 30% per square metre.”
– Nigel Thomas, Managing Director of KwikTuf
