Glaston’s purpose is to build a better tomorrow through safer and more energy-efficient glass solutions. We see the promotion of sustainable development as an opportunity and want to be involved in developing sustainable societies of the future.

Glaston is a frontrunner in glass processing technologies and services, and glass processed with our machines is used in architectural glass, mobility glass, display and solar energy industries. Most of the glass produced using the Glaston technology is supplied to the construction industry.

Responsible Sourcing

Suppliers play an important role in Glaston’s value chain, and responsible sourcing is an integral part of how we do business. We are committed to sustainable sourcing practices, which include supplier requirements and audits, as well as the realization of human rights and occupational safety. We carefully select our suppliers and look for close, long-term relationships with our key partners to ensure alignment with our requirements for both processes and products.

Our quality and procurement organizations regularly audit key suppliers. These audits focus on areas such as quality management, production processes, and security of supply. When issues are identified, corrective actions are implemented, and supplier performance is closely monitored until the matter has been resolved.

Integrity and ethical conduct are fundamental to all our business activities, and we carry out our business in line with the ethical standards expressed in our Code of Conduct. Our sourcing practices are guided by the principles set out in our Code of Conduct and reinforced by the Glaston Supplier Code of Conduct. This code outlines our expectations for suppliers, manufacturers, and other business partners regarding compliance with legal requirements, ethical business practices, respect for human rights, and environmental responsibility.
