Glaston Care fine-tunes quality and production

Located in Calgary, Canada, Goldray Industries Ltd. focuses on decorative glass, which means more than standard glass. More specifically, the company’s focus is to use glass as a solid surface material. This covers ceiling tiles, opaque or translucent walls, flooring systems and many other applications.

Today, Goldray is equipped with one Glaston Tamglass tempering furnace and four Bavelloni edgers. At least four years ago, Goldray Industries began with a Glaston Care agreement for the edgers.

“Although all our maintenance personnel are really good, it’s always good to get support from technicians who know the machinery inside and out. Our original aim was to get our edging machinery back into much better running condition. But, in fact, the very first visit with Glaston Care completely paid for itself.”

“Based on the positive outcome with the edging machinery service agreement, we then decided about a year ago to extend the Glaston Care to cover our Glaston furnace, which too has made such a big difference.”

”With the technician coming to our facilities twice a year, we’re able to improve on our quality and our production. The agreement pays for itself every year.”
– Michael Saroka, VP of Operations, Goldray Industries
